Taylor Cares | March Madness Fundraiser
At Taylor, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities we serve. Through our Taylor Cares program, we aim to make a real difference in people’s lives. This year, we took our commitment to community impact to the next level with an exciting fundraiser that brought together our teams across various locations to support worthy causes.
Each of our locations had the chance to vote on a cause they felt strongly about supporting throughout the year. The chosen causes reflect our team members’ diverse interests and concerns, ranging from food insecurity to mental health and animal welfare. We’re proud to stand behind organizations like The Freestore Foodbank, Best Point Behavioral Health, PAWS Adoption Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, and GO Pantry of Northern Kentucky.
To kickstart our fundraising efforts, we decided to tap into the excitement of March Madness. Sixty-four enthusiastic individuals signed up to participate, each randomly assigned an NCAA men’s basketball team. What followed wasn’t just a thrilling sports event, but a meaningful opportunity to give back to our communities.
As the tournament progressed, so did our fundraising goals. For those whose teams made it to the final four, we pledged donations to their chosen causes. This year, luck was on our side as the final four teams represented different Taylor locations, allowing us to support four distinct causes simultaneously. This success highlights the power of our collective efforts, showcasing our ability to make a difference across multiple communities. Additionally, we committed to donating extra funds to the cause of the national champion, maximizing our impact and demonstrating our dedication to community betterment.
The Taylor Cares March Madness fundraiser wasn’t just about cheering for college teams; it was about rallying behind causes that matter to us. It reminded us that regardless of our backgrounds, we all share a common goal of making a positive difference in the world.
As the tournament concluded, we celebrated the athletic achievements and the spirit of generosity and unity that defines Taylor Cares. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and supported.
