- As a smaller confectionery company, they were facing the challenge of mass distribution to ensure stocked shelves for the “Halloween” season.
- They were searching for a 3PL to partner with that could handle the mass inbounds over a short period of time, handle short term storage and assemble shipments as well as contract carriers to ensure on time deliveries nationally to Walmart and Dollar General.

- Taylor Logistics was chosen to provide the 3PL Logistics Services at the Cincinnati, Ohio location. Taylor has continued to serve this customer in this capacity for over 10 years.
- Taylor Logistics supplies a transportation specialist team to handle the inbound transportation from Newmarket, Ontario to Cincinnati, Ohio starting in early June.
- Taylor Warehouse provides a quality food grade warehouse option to store product on a short-term basis. When the orders are ready to ship, Taylor Warehouse prepares the orders, contracts and loads the outbound carriers and reports the pallets shipped via customers’ web portal.
- Taylor Logistics also supplies a transportation specialist team to manage the outbound transportation from Cincinnati, OH nationally to the Wal-Mart and Dollar General Distribution Centers. Services provided include:
- Contracting TL rates and carriers.
- Setting and confirming delivery appointments
- Multiple daily check calls
- Delivery Confirmation and retrieving POD’s
- OS&D reporting
- Assistance in claim and fine processing
