Is the rate I receive a real quote or an estimate?
It's a real, human-prepared quote. Taylor does not use auto-quote engines or AI-generated pricing. A category specialist reviews your specifics — lane, volume, handling, timing — and prepares a rate they can stand behind.
What information should I include with my rate request?
For freight: origin and destination ZIPs, mode (TL/LTL/partial), weight, and pickup date. For warehousing: pallet count or square footage, product type, and inbound origin. For eCommerce: monthly order volume, active SKU count, and your sales channels. The more specifics you share, the more accurate the rate.
Does Taylor offer rates for one-time shipments or only contracts?
Both. Taylor quotes one-time and spot-market freight, month-to-month public warehousing, and multi-year dedicated contracts. Use the same form for any of them — note your timing in the message field and we'll route accordingly.
