What to expect from us

How we work. No surprises.

We've been doing this for 175 years. Here's what sets a Taylor partnership apart from the first call forward.

🤝
A dedicated point of contact
You get a named account manager, not a ticket queue. They know your business, your SKUs, and your thresholds.
📊
Real-time inventory visibility
WMS Synapse powered by Made4Net gives you live inventory data, inbound and outbound status, and reporting — all accessible from day one.
Speed where it matters
We move quickly when it matters. New warehousing partners are typically live and receiving within their first week.
🔒
Compliance and certifications
SQF certified. FDA registered. Food-grade facilities. We maintain the standards so you don't have to chase them.
🔗
EDI and systems integration
We connect to your TMS, ERP, or eCommerce platform. EDI 940, 945, 856, and 810 available. Our tech team handles the setup.
🏗️
Scalable as you grow
We work with some of the largest Fortune 500 companies and the fastest-growing brands in the country. Start where you are — add services as your volume and complexity grow.
New partner onboarding

Already signed? Here's what's next.

Onboarding is as simple or as complex as your scope requires. A single-lane brokerage relationship looks different from a full WMS integration — we meet you where you are and don't add steps that don't serve you.

Your account manager reaches out shortly after SOW execution. You'll get introductions to your operations lead, WMS support contact, and billing team. We'll confirm your expected first shipment date and schedule a kickoff call.

Our IT team provisions your WMS Synapse credentials and walks you through the portal. If you're connecting your TMS or ERP, we'll exchange the integration specs and begin testing. EDI partners will complete the standard mapping process during this window.

We support EDI 940, 945, 856, 810, and 204/214 for transportation. REST API access is available for custom integrations.

We'll ask for your item master — SKUs, descriptions, weights, dimensions, ti/hi, and any temperature or handling instructions. This data goes into WMS Synapse before your first shipment arrives so receiving and put-away can happen cleanly from day one.

For cold storage and food-grade items, we'll also confirm temperature profiles, allergen flags, and any hold protocols at this stage.

Book your first dock appointment at opendock.com. Your account manager will be available the day of your first receive. We review the ASN in advance, confirm counts on arrival, and notify you when product is put away and inventory is live in your WMS portal.

Need to expedite? Call 513-771-1850 and ask for your account manager by name — they'll know your account.

For prospects

What to bring to the first conversation.

The more context you can give us up front, the faster we can give you a real number. Don't worry if you don't have everything — we'll ask.

  • Freight lanes — origin and destination states or zip codes
  • Volume estimate — pallets per month or loads per week
  • Product type — food, consumer goods, industrial, temp-sensitive
  • Temperature requirements — dry, refrigerated, or frozen
  • Target start date or timeline pressure
  • Current 3PL or in-house situation — what's working, what isn't
  • Systems you're running — TMS, ERP, eCommerce platform
For new partners

What to have ready at kickoff.

Gathering this before your kickoff call means we can hit day 5 go-live without delays.

  • Item master — SKUs, weights, dimensions, ti/hi, case counts
  • Handling and storage instructions for each product line
  • EDI specs or API documentation if applicable
  • ERP or TMS integration contact on your IT team
  • First inbound shipment details — carrier, PO, expected arrival
  • Billing and accounts payable contact
  • Any compliance certs or documentation your product requires
