Seven generations. One family owned logistics company in Cincinnati. Over 175 years of showing up for the people who count on us.

That is the story we carry into every warehouse, every load and every conversation with the partners who trust us with their inventory. It is also the story that the Goering Center for Family & Private Business at the University of Cincinnati chose to recognize this year, naming Taylor Logistics Inc. a 2026 Family and Private Business Award honoree. We are deeply grateful to the Goering Center, not just for this recognition, but for the community they have built around family owned and privately held businesses across Greater Cincinnati. Being part of that community means as much to us as the award itself.

We will be honest. This one caught us by surprise.

A Cincinnati Family Business Legacy Built Since 1850

Founded in 1850, Taylor Logistics did not set out to collect awards. Our story started the same way most family businesses do, with people who simply showed up, did the work and took care of each other. For over 175 years and across seven generations, that has never changed. What has changed is the size of the team, the reach of our facilities and the number of partners who now call Taylor home for their supply chain needs.

“I think about the people who built this company long before I was born, and I wish they could see it now. None of them set out to win awards. They just showed up every day and took care of people, their employees, their customers and each other. If this recognition means anything, it means that the way we were raised to do business still works. I am proud to hand that down to the next generation, and I am even prouder of how they have carried it.” Drew Taylor, CEO and Sixth Generation Leader, Taylor Logistics

Standing Among Companies We Admire

Taylor Logistics joins a distinguished class of 2026 honorees, including HBH Holdings Inc., Perfection Group, WSA USA, Centennial and Talent Magnet Institute, Appro-Rx, CPN Legal, Riverside Electric Inc., Junk King Cincinnati and Knox Manufacturing Solutions. The Jeff Wyler Family will be inducted into the Family and Private Business Award Hall of Fame this year, and Steve Hater will be honored as the 2026 Volunteer of the Year.

“Every year, the Family and Private Business Awards recognize organizations and leaders who embody the resilience, innovation and values that define our region’s business community,” said Carol Butler, President & CEO of the Goering Center. “The 2026 honorees, along with the Jeff Wyler family, our Hall of Fame inductee, represent the very best of Greater Cincinnati.”

The 2026 Family and Private Business Awards celebration will be held September 15 at Hard Rock Casino, with Baseball Hall of Famer Marty Brennaman serving as emcee.

We are so grateful to the Goering Center for this recognition, and even more grateful to be part of this community. Being a member alongside so many families and business owners who share the same values we do, hard work, humility and taking care of people, means more to us than any single award ever could.
