What Is the Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award?

The Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award is an annual recognition presented by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive that honors female supply chain leaders whose accomplishments, mentorship and example set a foundation for women at every level of the industry. The Rising Stars category recognizes women earlier in their careers who are already making a measurable impact.

The 2026 award received more than 300 submissions, including a record 70 self-submissions and 44 nominations from male colleagues. Winners, including the Top 4 overall category winners, will be honored at the Women in Supply Chain Forum™, held November 17 through 19, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Who Is Noelle Taylor Dalton?

Noelle Taylor Dalton is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Taylor Logistics, a family owned third party logistics provider headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2018, her uncle Rex Taylor asked her to join the family business in a digital marketing role, and she has since grown into sales and marketing leadership across the company’s three operating entities.

Dalton is part of the seventh generation of the Taylor family to work in the business, alongside her brother and her father, and it’s something she doesn’t take for granted. Beyond sales and marketing, she’s involved in communications, brand strategy and business ethics, including Taylor’s sustainability work and supplier code of conduct, and she completed the Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition program covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions. She’s also part of Taylor’s artificial intelligence and automation taskforce and a member of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA), which recognized her in 2024 as a Brand Innovator, Mountain Mover Runner Up.

“I’m just really grateful. My uncle Rex asked me to join Taylor back in 2018, and neither of us really knew where it would lead. Being part of a business my family has carried for seven generations means everything to me, and getting to do that alongside people across this whole industry, especially other women building their own paths, is something I don’t take for granted. This recognition really belongs to our whole team.”

How Has Noelle Taylor Dalton Contributed to Taylor Logistics’ Growth?

Enterprise partners rarely need just one logistics service, and Dalton has spent much of her time at Taylor working alongside the sales, operations and warehouse teams to make sure Taylor can meet a partner wherever their supply chain actually needs help, whether that’s warehousing, freight brokerage or dedicated fleet capacity.

A full service approach. Rather than treating warehousing, transportation and dedicated fleet as separate services, the team starts with a partner’s broader supply chain needs and builds from there. That can include multi client warehousing, dedicated operations, freight brokerage, dedicated transportation, fulfillment, retail compliance, value added services, food grade storage and cold storage.

One relationship, fewer handoffs. Many enterprise partners are juggling multiple logistics providers, which can mean more contracts, more systems and more points of contact. Dalton has focused on making it easier for partners to get more of what they need through one relationship with Taylor, without losing the attention that comes from working with a smaller, family run company.

Room to grow together. A partnership might start small, overflow warehousing in one market or seasonal transportation support, and grow from there as the partner’s business grows. Dalton says that kind of long term relationship, more than any single deal, is what she finds most rewarding about the work.

Listening first. Before recommending a solution, the team spends time understanding a partner’s inventory, order volumes, lanes, seasonality and growth plans. Dalton has helped build that discovery process into how Taylor’s sales team operates, so partners get a solution suited to them rather than a standard package.

Telling Taylor’s story. On the marketing side, Dalton has helped build out content and a digital presence so partners researching a 3PL can find Taylor and get real answers to their questions early on. She’s also worked on the systems behind the scenes, like account routing and customer service workflows, so partners have a clear point of contact once they’re working with Taylor.

Over the years Dalton has been in sales and marketing leadership, Taylor’s revenue has grown from roughly $40 million to $70 million, something she’s quick to credit to the whole team rather than any one person.

What Taylor Looks For in an Enterprise 3PL Partnership

Dalton often says the best partnerships aren’t built around a single shipment or a single contract. They come from actually understanding where a partner’s supply chain is today, where it’s creating friction and what that partner is going to need as their business grows.

That’s the approach the team tries to bring to every conversation, looking past a single freight lane or warehouse request to understand the bigger picture: where inventory sits, where customers are, which retailers are involved and where a partner might be feeling pressure as volume increases.

From there, Taylor puts together whatever mix of warehousing, freight brokerage, dedicated transportation, fulfillment, retail compliance, value added services and cold storage actually fits. The goal was never to sell a partner everything Taylor offers. It’s to understand their business well enough to know which pieces would genuinely help.

What Services Can Taylor Provide Enterprise Partners?

Taylor supports partners through warehousing, freight brokerage, dedicated transportation, fulfillment, retail compliance, value added services, food grade storage and cold storage, built around whatever combination fits a partner’s network, volume and growth.

“Noelle has helped shape how Taylor shows up for enterprise partners, across warehousing, transportation and dedicated fleet, and she’s done it while making sure Taylor still feels like the family business it’s always been. The way she shows up for her team, for our customers and for this industry reflects exactly what great leadership looks like. This recognition is well-deserved, and it belongs to everyone who’s helped build this with her.”

Will Roberson Jr., President & COO, Taylor Logistics

What Is Noelle Taylor Dalton’s Role in Taylor Cares?

Dalton has been closely involved in building Taylor Cares, Taylor’s community impact program. Rather than the company choosing one organization to support company-wide, each Taylor facility picks its own local nonprofit, nominated and voted on by the employees at that location, then supports it through the year via fundraising, volunteering, sponsorships or in-kind help.

Organizations supported through Taylor Cares have included:

  • Best Point Education and Behavioral Health, Cincinnati, OH
  • Freestore Foodbank, Greater Cincinnati, OH
  • Myles Ahead Animal Rescue, Monroe, OH
  • The Greenhouse Project, Jessup, PA
  • Friends of Casco Bay, Portland, ME
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Atlanta, GA

The program also includes a company-wide component, such as an annual March Madness fundraiser that involves all of Taylor’s locations at once.

Why Does the Women in Supply Chain Award Matter?

Supply chain and logistics have traditionally had fewer women in senior roles, and that has been slow to change. Recognition like the Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award does not fix that on its own, but it puts names and faces to the people doing the work, which matters most for women earlier in their careers who are deciding whether there is room for them at this level.

Dalton is proud to be one of more than 70 women recognized in 2026 across the Rising Stars and other categories, and glad to see so many other women in the industry getting the same kind of recognition. The full list will be published on FoodLogistics.com and SDCExec.com on August 17, 2026.

Noelle Taylor Dalton is proud to be part of the seventh generation of her family working at Taylor Logistics, and just as proud to be part of an industry built by people who show up for their partners and for each other. Her 2026 Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award reflects the work of the whole team she gets to work alongside every day, in sales, marketing, warehousing and transportation. She joined Taylor in 2018 at her uncle Rex’s invitation, and she’s grateful for every year since.
